A Promise Kept: Restoring Health and Hope at Adigbe Borstal Institute

On Saturday, 14 February 2026, the TOKAN Foundation team returned to the Borstal Institution in Adigbe, Ogun State. Our mission was simple but vital: to deliver essential medicines and medical supplies, made possible through the generous support of Drug Aid Africa.

Access to healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. During our initial visit in October 2025, we sat with the institution's management to understand the most pressing needs of the young boys in their care. We left that day with a commitment to return with practical solutions. Today, we are grateful to have honoured that promise.

Beyond Healthcare: The Fight for Justice

Through the Child Rights & Juvenile Justice Center (CRJJC), our impact goes beyond medical supplies. We are currently working to bridge the gap in legal representation for boys who have been awaiting trial, some since as far back as 2020. By verifying court records and following up with the Ministry of Justice, we are ensuring that no child is forgotten by the legal system.

Our deepest thanks go to Drug Aid Africa. Their partnership ensures that "impact" isn't just a buzzword, but a tangible reality for underserved communities.

At TOKAN Foundation, we believe collaboration is the key to sustainability. We will continue to show up, intervene, and advocate for those who need it most.
